Photo Art Friday--Black and White

The Red Balloon
An old photo, taken a few years ago, converted to b/w and played with a bit using filters and blending.  Texture by Pareeerica and the text overlay is a brush.  The balloon I painted red was originally green, and the sky a brilliant blue!

The photo below was taken in 2004 on a trip to San Francisco--another brilliant blue sky! I added a layer with the Photocopy filter applied, then a bit of blur.  Bonnie's texture, Nitty Gritty, was also added, for...well...texture.

    2 very nice pieces of art. Love the pop of the red in your first piece. Love all the lines/angles in the 2nd piece.

    Linda both b&w are fantastic; the spot of color is great and the mast's are so dramatic!
