ICAD a Day--Almost time

As a warm up exercise for this year's Index Card a Day Challenge from Tammy at Daisy Yellow, it was suggested that we write a haiku...I love this poetic format, and couldn't resist.  For my first venture into this fascinating challenge, I bought a really inexpensive 4 x 6" photo album with 100 slots--and, yes I filled all the pages.  I may use this one as the cover art for this year's book.

Three Muses--Hats

Take a Word--Books

Books are the ticket to the universe.

My baby doll when I was a child was Betsy Wetsy.  I called her Baby and loved her for years.  I looked and looked on Google Images, but couldn't find MY I went a different way.
Images from Google and bits from Marta Van Eck's many kits.

Link love--an envelope accordion book

From Susan Brown at Unruly Paper Arts--this is Brilliant!

And incredibly easy.

I do a lot of envelope printing at my job, and mistakes do occur--so I can recycle, and make art, and make interesting presents for my friends too.  What will I stick in all the pockets?

Three Muses--Some like it HOT

My Mom's Hot

Photo from Pinterest, found on Google.  The date on the photo is 5/13/1945--could have been Mother's Day.

SPA--Glamour begets Ennui

I often that the people who live the most glamorous lives must get so tired of it all...

This is the translation of the french text:

"Life is made of small and big miracles. Nothing is boring, because everything is constantly changing. The problem is not in the world, but in the way we see the world"

I just love beautifully worn old doors!  This blue one is one of my favorite images.  The cello and tree are from Marta Van Eck, and the doggie is from Holliewood Studio.  So glad to be posting again.

I don't understand what happened to my Blog, but for the last several days I haven't been able to post ANYTHING--no pictures,no words!  It was so awful that I couldn't even create any art for last weeks challenges...
I hope it's all better now.
