A "skinny" is a card measuring 3 by 5 inches. Started with a dictionary page, then some brushstroke brushes to simulate gesso. The figure is from a painting by Whistler, the tiger was from Wikimedia Commons and the window I found on Image After. The labyrinth overlay is a brush from Nicecrane designs.
All the elements come together beautifully in this lovely piece. That tiger looks absolutely content! Nice work.
ReplyDeleteA lovely presentation Linda !!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very creative and unusual piece, Linda! The labyrinth overlay is something I've never seen before. It gives a very interesting dimension to the collage.
ReplyDeleteLove it. Especially the tiger lying there all peacefully.

ReplyDeleteLinda, your "skinny" is fantastic. There's a story to be told. Is the ghostly lady invisible to the sleeping tiger or is she standing on a tiger rug? I love the intricate patterns in the background. The whole effect is superb.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous skinny, Linda, she just has to watch her back!
ReplyDeleteThe labyrynth overlay is a wonderful touch! Lovely, Linda!
ReplyDeleteGreat composition. The lady seems very comfortable in the company of the tiger...
