Take a word-Music

I made this piece for the DW 100 Themes challenge.
Photos from Google images, unknown cello player, and Jacqueline Du Pre, both greatly alterd with the Impressionist plug in for photoshop. The music in the overlay is a handwritten score by Puccini, and the text and frame are from Frames for Use Flickr Group.

This is a photo used with the permission of the photographer, Nir Landau and altered with filters, blending modes and gradient layers.

  2. Both so different but both absolutely stunning in their own separate ways. Linda, you have excelled yourself and deserve a standing ovation from my corner. Bravo.

  3. Lovely art! The first one is especially wonderful and impressionistic.

  4. Very beautiful! There is so much intensity in the cello piece, the musician is completely absorbed - wonderful! The harp piece is a great alteration and much lighter, as a harp should be - brilliant pieces! Cheers!

  10. Both pictures are beautiful, Linda. Mention of Jacqueline du Pre always makes me feel sad. She was a great musician struck down with a painful and terminal disease at a young age.
    Wonderful artwork.
