Here's my entry for this week's Three Muses challenge--Wheels. Seems I'm still stuck in the American West...cowboys this time!
I used a wagon wheel brush from a western set to create the background and another brush from the set for the cowboy. I used the technique I learned in the workshop I'm taking to do the dark border. The original background textures are from Shadowhouse Studio and Encounter_Laura at T4L
Lovely work Linda! Shades of the Lone Ranger!!
ReplyDeleteThe background and brushes look great.

Great idea!!!
ReplyDeleteYahoo and giddyup, Linda!! I love your cowboy art. Very well done, and a nice addition to our collection of wheels! Thanks for playing along!
ReplyDeleteLinda, this is nothing less than magnificent, a lovely use of brushes to great effect and wonderful composition and colour. Thank you for joining in this week.
ReplyDeleteLinda, I can only agree with Ann (Taluula above). This is a superb piece, full of movement and drama with great layering and texturing. Fantastic artwork.
ReplyDeleteGreat piece. Conveys the movement and sense of danger.
