Photo Arts Friday--Connected

Connect/ connection/connected is our theme this week ay PAF.  I am focusing on the beauty inherent in the small and mundane things we look at every day but don't see.  So-- and electric outlet and a power strip--these everyday tools that help us connect to our larger world.

Both images use Bonnie's texture Signed and Sealed.

  6. Wow this is the most creative piece I've seen this week. Who would have thought that you could transform something as "ordinary" as a plug-in into something so artistic.

  9. Wonderful how you've taken the mundane and elevated it to art. That first picture has a great sort of abstract quality to it, and such a pleasing flow from the lines of the wires. Like Beth (see above) I think the black and white treatment is perfect in its simplicity.
You've illustrated a powerful connection (pardon the pun).

  10. Love your play with light and content in the first picture. The silhouette of the cords is beautifully done and I love the texture you choose to use with it. Overall it was a very neat way to incorporate the theme of connection into your pieces.
