This week's "Edit Me" photo is from Kaylene. It's a photo with "good bones"-- it has great lines that help your eye move around, and a nearly perfect "rule of thirds" layout. Lovely reflections, too.
I tried to give it a little more drama--a Fotosketcher layer to bring out the edges and shadows, and a warm, Cinnamon texture from Pixel Dust to give it some light and texture.
Hi Linda, I really like how you have used a background texture, and the Fotosketcher (I do not know the program) has enhanced the overall effect, I like the warming effect of the texture - a good choice. Well done.ReplyDelete
Love how you changed the whole feel of this photo with your edit, very moody!ReplyDelete

The texture added a TON! Looks like a canvas now!ReplyDelete
NICE Linda, like how fotosketcher brought out the lines in the photo and the added warmth!ReplyDelete
Hi Linda, What I like about this photo is your composition and the warm color change, it really makes the foreground pop. I am your newest follower, and I would like to invite you over to visit my blog, and hopefully you will choose to follow me too. Have a great day, and keep doing what you're doing with your photos, they are great! Connie :)ReplyDelete

Lovely transformation - simple yet adds just enough to make me go, oooooh!ReplyDelete
That texture was a great idea. It creates a warmth and a beautiful canvas look. Very pretty!ReplyDelete
