This week's "Edit Me" photo is from Kaylene. It's a photo with "good bones"-- it has great lines that help your eye move around, and a nearly perfect "rule of thirds" layout. Lovely reflections, too.
I tried to give it a little more drama--a Fotosketcher layer to bring out the edges and shadows, and a warm, Cinnamon texture from Pixel Dust to give it some light and texture.
Hi Linda, I really like how you have used a background texture, and the Fotosketcher (I do not know the program) has enhanced the overall effect, I like the warming effect of the texture - a good choice. Well done.
ReplyDeleteLove how you changed the whole feel of this photo with your edit, very moody!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the textures Linda, very lovely effects.. Your take is wonderful.. Pretty cool edit.. ;))
ReplyDeleteThe texture added a TON! Looks like a canvas now!
ReplyDeleteNICE Linda, like how fotosketcher brought out the lines in the photo and the added warmth!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, What I like about this photo is your composition and the warm color change, it really makes the foreground pop. I am your newest follower, and I would like to invite you over to visit my blog, and hopefully you will choose to follow me too. Have a great day, and keep doing what you're doing with your photos, they are great! Connie :)
ReplyDeleteLove the cinnamon texture effect on the photo. p.s. Your art work (100 themes) are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely transformation - simple yet adds just enough to make me go, oooooh!
ReplyDeleteThat texture was a great idea. It creates a warmth and a beautiful canvas look. Very pretty!
