I've been wanting to use this Victorian woman image for a while now, but couldn't find the right place for her, because she's --well--ODD.
She's from a Dover free sheet, the watch from the Feathered Nest, the tickets from Free Collage Images and the background made from a piece from a Songbird Avenue kit, a gradient layer and lots of brushes.
WOW what a gorgeous and funny collage. Love all details, the coloration and the odd victorian women, she is so funny with her saying!:-)

Oh, Linda, that image is PRICELESS! This is a wonderful addition to our collection of odd this week. I love the color and page design as well!
ReplyDeleteShe is great. We don't always want pretty.
ReplyDeleteShe reminds me of myself when I am cross.
Lovely work though, as ever!

Well, Miss Linda, this is hilarious and made me smile from ear to ear! I wonder what her opera voice sounds like though ..... mmmmm probably better not to know! Fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI try to convince myself that MY opera voice is wonderful but when I try it out on my small grandchildren they become my sternest critics and tell me, not so politely, to STOP. I love this picture, Linda. It is funny and beautifully designed. Great artwork as always.
ReplyDeleteI can see why you kept her image, she is certainly interesting and odd. The "opera voice" is very funny. nice job.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. Look at that face. It's perfect. Love your concept.
