Scavenger hunt--10 items beginning with the letter S  Went into the mail on Monday.
This was difficult, had to look in many places for these. It's amazing the number of things that DON'T begin with the letter S.

I've never seen the TV show, Portlandia, but I know people who live there, and understand that art really imitates life there.  I do remember hearing about several episodes featuring the expression, " put a bird on it!"  So, I did.

Some new mail art postcards

Been playing with packing tape and my gelli plate.  It's a great way to clean it off if the paint has dried, and the transparent layers are great for texture and depth. I layered them on top of collaged pieces

 

I also played with my baby sewing machine and stiched the edges down.  I stitched these up while I was at it.
