I was away this past weekend, celebrating our wedding anniversary and Hubby's birthday with good friends, good food and genuine Irish Coffee!
I didn't have much time for art making, but managed a few quiet moments.
a journal page, started a week ago and finished in the early hours of Sunday morning. The cut out words on the calendar page were put there while I was prepping the journal last December.
two pages in a little journal, also a WIP, finished this weekend. It's a little (3" x 4.3") "Flex journal, with a removable leather cover. It was a Christmas present to myself a few years ago, when I started journaling. I promptly put it away for "Something Special" and forgot its existence.. I found it again recently, and deciding that all attempts at art are something special and what was I waiting for--began to doodle in it.
Two Postcards
started the Zentangle last Friday evening, and finished it last night.
The second one was inspired by a VERY eclectic catalog that arrived in the weekend's mail
Gelli printed card and deli paper overlay, and washi tape.
I can relate to those children in the postcard! :-)
ReplyDeletehappy belated anniversary. So glad you shared it in your art with us.
ReplyDeleteI simply adore the bunnies in your little journal. I agree that pages like this should be used.
And of course, I got a big laugh from the postcard. Supply and demand, indeed.
