Some collage play

A couple of collages created by following a "recipe."  Face of a Madonna, crumpled or old paper texture, vintage birds and plants or flowers, gold leaf texture, a halo extracted from a Medieval painting and a grungy black edge.  I added the manuscript page--I'm a sucker for text textures.

    ok they are both very nice but that first one looks very sensual and fiery- i swear it looks to me like it is glowing!

    Beautiful- so rich in texture and colour. The second is my favourite.
