I am developing a real fascination with elderly couples who are still very much in love. My parents, who are 83 and 84 are such a couple and it's a joy to see how they care for each other.

This is so wonderful and heart warming Linda. I too am in awe of long lived couples in love (amazing about your parents- good longevity)! Love changes over the years- it becomes deeper and wiser-less on the physical stuff (thank god) and more about real life partnering and support.
ReplyDeleteBest to you and yours this Valentine's Day,
Lori

ReplyDeleteWhat a special card, Linda. Sweet!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it's not all young love, Linda. This is lovely and so romantic!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful card with a beautiful thought. We used to say those same words to each other years ago but look at us now! Good job we can't see into the fduture! Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful, Linda! Yes, it is fantastic to see older people still in the "loving mode".
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely take on the theme! One of my favourite Neil Young songs is Harvest Moon, although he is not quite elderly yet (just getting there! LOL).
ReplyDeleteLovely - 'always young at heart'.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely perfect! I love your artwork and your take on the theme, xo
