SPA- Pierrot

What an interesting theme! When I googled Pierrot for images there were so many--and all so different! Sad, happy, cute children in clown costumes, internationally famous actors, elegant dancers, tragic faces, and not just a few creepy ones.

I chose these , from Wikimedia Commons, both used with permission of the photographers and altered with Fotosketcher, my new favorite free toy.
The grungy diamond pattern is from Bittbox and the rest was done with brushes, filters and blending.

Thanks for visiting.

Psykopaint!

I learned about a free digital painting site from one of my Yahoo groups. It's called Psykopaint and it's great fun! Here's the URL if you want to try it out. I can't seem to create the link.

Here's the original photo I started with.

collage Obsession--Peace

A piece I did a while ago. The graffiti background was from a challenge and the Buddha was googled.

Three Muses Challenge- -Autumn

A little digital painting...

Background is my own photo, altered in Fotosketcher, the boy and horse is a challenge image from Dgitalnuts, a Yahoo group, also digitally altered. The frame is also my own overlay.

Take a word-Music

I made this piece for the DW 100 Themes challenge.
Photos from Google images, unknown cello player, and Jacqueline Du Pre, both greatly alterd with the Impressionist plug in for photoshop. The music in the overlay is a handwritten score by Puccini, and the text and frame are from Frames for Use Flickr Group.

This is a photo used with the permission of the photographer, Nir Landau and altered with filters, blending modes and gradient layers.

SPA-Pink

Just back from a week on Cape Cod. No computer, but there were sunny days, rainy days, beautiful sunsets, amazing fog, sandy beaches to walk, crashing waves on the ocean side, quaint villages and Provincetown. A lovely relaxing trip--rest, reading good books, eating good food, lots of photography...
...but, nice to be home again.

Here's my pink postcard. Thanks to Gaby Braun, the Graphics Fairy, Jerry Jones at Shadowhouse, and all the folks who create and share their fabulous Photoshop brushes.
